Helping young patients feel like superheroes when they need it most
Variety Squiggle Shape - green flower

Each Supertee looks like a superhero costume, helping children feel brave and empowered, while also allowing parents and hospital staff to easily change them and access medical lines and equipment without disruption.

With support from a $20,000 grant from Variety SA, 400 Supertee care packs were assembled by dedicated volunteers and delivered to the South Australian Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

The impact is both immediate and powerful.
For 400 young patients, Supertee brings more than comfort — it creates a moment of confidence, dignity and joy during what can be a challenging time. It transforms a clinical environment into something a little more hopeful, helping children feel strong, capable and in control.

Thoughtfully designed to support both care and imagination, Supertee makes life easier for families and hospital staff, while ensuring children can still feel like kids — even in hospital.
Thanks to the generosity of Variety supporters, these award-winning garments continue to reach children across Australia and beyond, providing comfort, courage and a sense of adventure when it’s needed most.

Because sometimes, the smallest things can make the biggest difference.
