With support from Variety SA, Emerson received a paediatric walker — a simple but life-changing piece of equipment that is helping him build strength, gain independence and move through the world with greater confidence.

The impact has been incredible.

Emerson’s walker has become part of his everyday life, travelling with him and his family wherever they go — from local outings to trips across the country. Whether it’s on planes, in cars or on buses, his walker ensures he can stay active, engaged and included.

For Emerson, it’s more than just mobility — it’s freedom.

Emerson loves being independent and the funding from Variety has enabled this by purchasing his paediatric walking frame. His walker has travelled to Sydney, Perth and Victoria with our family on short trips on planes, cars and buses. We take the walker with us everywhere we go daily to provide independence for our active, smart, courageous and determined, car loving two and a half year old son.
